We've already covered who will be responsible for repairs, upkeep, etc. We would be the first renters in this house since the current owner purchased and renovated it (including adding rooms), so he doesn't have information about past bills. We know what appliances will be included, what the rent and security deposit will be.
Is there anything else that should be addressed before making our decision?

I would check this site out: http://www.rentalforeclosure.com/ and make sure the house you're interested isn't in trouble. I've had three friends evicted with less than 48 hours of notice because their landlords went into foreclosure. Also, discuss inspections. How often will they be able to enter the property and how much notice do they plan to give you?
