rude people

so i took DS, 3 1/2 yo, to get a bang trim today. yes, he has long hair! we waited, they said 30 mis or less. 1 hr and 15 mins later, (she had to stop and eat lunch) we get in the chair. she cannot cut unless he is looking STRAIGHT at her. keep in mind, his hair is long, long enough that he can have his head cocked and not move his hair. so i stepup and hold his face straight. he keeps trying to rub his nose, so i wipe it with a tissue. she steps back, holds her hands up and asks how long he has been sick. i tell her it was the flu, from last tuesday. she asks how long he was on antibiotics, i tell her his peds doc said it was viral, no meds. kids has not had a fever for 5 days! i know some people are germaphobs, but really! if you are gonna cut hair for a living, don't act like my kid has cooties!!

really sux, 'cause my neighbor across the street owns the place, and i am pretty sure we will not go back there again!

  • Was she cocky and arrogant? Did she just ask wondering. There r alot of people who don't want to get sick. I am trying to stay away from a person at work with a respiratory infection, which is BTW contagious. The flu can be passed around too.

  • she went above and beyond the whole is he sick. and i can see staying away from people if they are sick, i really can. but she just acted really grossed out! like if she touched him, she was gonna die! and ya, i know the flu is contagious, but he had it last week, and i told her that!
