At what age, did your baby start walking? If the baby is holding onto your fingers as he walks as it considered that he is walking? Just curious. Thanks.

  • DD walked by herself at 10 1/2 months. She just took off and has not stopped.

  • She started walking on her own, without holding on to anything at 12-13 months. After that it just took off, she's 15 months now and running!

  • My 15 year old was over a year old when he started walking (I don't count cruising furnature either, I mean actually walking).... my 5 year old was barely nine months old when he was walking... and my 3 year old was naine and a half months when he was walking!!!

  • My daughter was 16 months when she walked w/o assistance..and my son was 13 months. I would consider "walking" when they walk with no assistance...the finger holding thing they the begging..but just as exciting!

  • My first son walked around his first B-Day, my second son did not walk until he was 2 1/2 because he was born with Down Syndrome, my 3rd son walked around 11 1/2 months and my fourth son is not walking yet, but he is only 8months old.

  • My daughter took independent steps about a week shy of 15 months. But she didn't really walk around until about a week past 16 months.

  • my dd started at 8 months my ds at 11 months. walking while holding hands they started 5 months for my dd and 9 months for my ds. but i personally dont consider walking with hands full walking, more like cruiseing
