What pain killers can I take during pregnancy?

Ok, so I've heard that while you're pregnant you're only supposed to take Tylenol. I know aspirin & ibuprofen are no-no's, but what about Motrin?

  • Motrin is ibuprofen. So no. Unfortunatly there aren't many pain killers you can take. And be careful with the Tylenol. Take too much and it's not safe.

  • Check with your doc to see if they can give you a list. I thought the same thing, then with 2nd pregnancy was given a list of all kinds of meds you can take -- Tylenol anything -- PM, or cold and flu -- you CAN take. Sudafed you CAN take. I was shocked.
