  • Sounds like a pulled mussle....I wouldnt worry about it make an apointment but no rush. And it will poke out when you stretch because it is trying to contract when you are doing that. But hot bath....or a heating pad might help a little with it. ER wont be able to do anything. Hope you feel better

  • How long have you had this? Id say you pulled a major muscle but it depends on the amount of time youve had it going on. Is your leg swollen??

  • The only thing the ER will do is an ultrasound to check for a blood clot. But I wouldnt take the worrying that far

  • If anything, go to urgent care, not the ER. It will be faster and cheaper. If it's purely muscular, take a warm bath with Epsom salt and see if you can relax and stretch out the muscle a little bit. If it doesn't get better, then schedule an appointment with the doctor.

  • is this on the front of the leg or side or behind? It could be a simple pulled muscle but if it's in the back of the leg it can be a pinched nerve

  • It sounds like you need an MRI, I would still wait for the dr.
