What is the major diference between a food processor and a blender.

  • FP's for solid food and blenders are more for liquids..... but a good FP can do both + more !

  • So I have a, what I would call a blender, but it also chops, mixes, blends, liquefies and other stuff. lol.

  • that's a blender. blenders have all kind of functions. the "container" thing is taller, pitcher shaped. A food processor is rounder, not as tall, and has a feed spout thing, with bigger blades.
