Do you read your toddlers nursery rhymes?

  • I certainly did --they're fun to read, simple rhymes, easy to remember... short.

  • Yes. Sometimes I read them, and sometimes I sing them. There are several he likes to recite or sing now too. Honestly, a few are little disturbing and violent IMO, but most are just fun nonsense, and they teach vocabulary, rhythm, and rhyming. Some I just remember, but there are a few I read from a book of nursery rhymes too.
