  • I married a responsible adult. I am so sorry that you can't say the same.

I strongly recommend couples counseling; if he won't go, go yourself.

  • I wouldn't be married to an irresponsible man. My. 25 husband
of 25 years has been responsible since day 1 and he was 19
when we got married. My children were raised from an early
age to be responsible. So my answer is neither is more irresponsible.

  • So can mom...just to be fair here.

everyone is allowed to be irresponsible at times. Life's too short to be rigid and serious 24/7

  • My husband is 23 and I'm 25. He can be irresponsible at time, but he makes up for it 10 fold. I agree with Zoeyis :)

  • I am sorry you married someone like that. I choose to marry someone I knew would be a great husband and great father. He has never once proved me wrong on my decision. Of course this is a man that looks down on uninvolved fathers and husbands. I married a man that has always got up through the night with our son with me, fed him, changed diapers, and he also potty trained our son. I hope you two can work this out.
