headaches during pregnancy

is it ok to use tiger balm on your temples and neck when pregnant, I have been told to steer away from heat lotions to deal with cramps because of the increasing heat they produce?!

  • I used heating pads. There are also cooling pads that you can put on your forehead, those feel nice. Also motrin and tylenol help as well

  • Not totally sure, but generally as long as your core body temperature doesn't change or rise too much, you're good. If you can eat ice-cream and freeze your insides beside the baby, you should be able to use warming lotions as long as they don't increase your body temperature drastically.

  • I have never heard of using that but I know headaches can be common during pregnancy but have you had your blood pressure checked recently? I know when I get a bad headache my blood pressure is up. Also I would limit any salt intake & drink more water. Dehydration can cause headaches as well.
