Why are all the shows and commercials during the day so feminine?

There are guys at home after all.

Seems a dated way to do things nowadays with so many men staying home more and more for the kids and with the advent of teleworking making people be home, as well.

  • Like scout_mom said. Most of the SAH parents are still women. The shows are all geared toward women, too. They're not going to change everything up just because the economy sucks. There will have to be a major PERMANENT shift in men staying home for the shows to change.

  • well the bright side is that maybe he'll try to pay attention to them and it won,t be so difficult for them to understand our needs but the commercials do need to be less about the embarassing things about women.

  • I also think it's funny how on all the trashy daytime shows like Jerry Springer and Maury, it's always commercials for "get a degree here..." and "if you've been hurt in an accident..." shows.
