Baby and mommy exercise

I have a 9 month old and I watch my 5 month old nephew also. He's teething, so yesterday I was trying to get him to quit fussing. I started using him as a weight doing squats, bicep curls and tricep dips. He loved it and holy cow it was a great workout! He weighs around 16 pounds. What is the weirdest thing you've used as a weight?

  • i guess my kids... i do mama yoga and it uses baby as a balance/weight!

  • That's funny. My daughter, who is now four, will run in and say "Daddy exercise with me" because she wants him to pick her up and bench her.

  • Use cans of beans to do body excersise. use the broom to keep the balance then get Walmark 3 pounds and then after consisty use 5 pounds of dumbelss and keep it up. abs, dvd , with the baby in the playyard for one hour daily.
