If so... does it help you to feel better when you are feeling aggrivated, angry, depressed and so on?
It works for me. I write down all of the little stuff. What I made for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What the kids and I did that day. I never put anything bad in it because it's my 'happy place". My goals, my to do lists, etc. When I'm feeling something "off" I give myself 48 hours to harp on it and then I move on. I don't mind feeling depressed, I allow myself to feel it. Then I move the heck on, lol.
