Are you thinking 'float' (scoop of frozen dessert in a glass of pop) or punch with frozen dessert?
The punch I make I just use half a bottle of grenadine, a quart of oj and a bottle of sparkling water --almost unsweetened (the sugar's in the oj --even the 'unsweetened' kind) sparkly, light, mmmm... Very popular. Looks nice with an ice ring (which you can freeze mint leaves or berries into) --either made in the tupperware jello mold or any kind of bundt pan, or even just individually frozen berries.
