Can your boss go through your emails?

So, I caught my boss going through my work emails. Is this allowed?

  • Yes it is. Even personal email is subject to be searched. You are using company time and equipment they have the right to look through it.

  • yes as long as they are on the work computer anything you do on company time is subject to search, sorry but true

  • Yes. My boss has access to all my activity on the company computer, and even gets a copy of all emails sent through the company-assigned account.

  • ~*Yes*~... Boss can legally go through your work emails... better hope all you were doing on company time was business??? And nothing that is to TMI and can be seen as a liability and get your fired? THEY PAY FOR IT... SO IT IS TECHNICALLY THEIRS, even if it is you using it.. much like a child??? Hmmm
