when can an ultrasound pick up a heartbeatĀ  of a baby?

  • 8-10wks my friend went in at 10wks and it was weak but we could here it.

  • I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and you could see the little heart beating. You had to look close but you could see it. I could not hear it until my 3 months in the dr office but saw it in all the ultrasounds up until that point.

  • Yeah I saw the heart beating at 8 weeks on the ultrasound machine, and it counted the beats (157) but we did not get to hear it. We did get to hear it at 12 weeks, that was really cool.

  • I heard my baby's heart beat at 8 weeks and 5 days. And it was very loud and clear =D

  • i had a ultrasound at 6wks and we saw the heartbeating on the ultrasound...i have not heard it yet tho.
