Affordable but low cost digital camera?

I got my 3 year old a fisher price camera for Christmas and he loves it but the quality is awful. So I want to get him a real one for his birthday.

  • I have Samsung L100. I got it a few years ago for $130 at Walmart, so it should be cheaper now if they still have it. It takes great pictures, I love it.
I don't know that it would hold up through a three year old though. They don't quite take care of things like adults do, and dropping or banging can mess up things inside and affect the quality of the picture later.

  • See if you can find a used Kodak EasyShare - there were huge when they first came out, still work well if they've been cared for at all, and should be $30 or less these days.
