healthy-ish Moms I have a food additive question ...

what is "invert sugar" ? I googled it so I basically understand what it is chemically but on the spectrum is it the same, better, worse than refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup, etc. ??

I am a label reading enthusiast but have never seen "invert sugar" on an ingredient list before on anything healthy or otherwise before now.

  • It is sweeter than regular sugar; I consider it to be closer to HFCS than evaporated cane juice

  • If it is man made, don't eat it. It is produced for profit, not to benefit the consumer.
