  • I'm glued to our TV like a little kid! I know some districts offer text msgs if they delay or close. I prefer to bring back memories from my childhood & sit in front of the TV w/ my fingers crossed! :p

  • We have a Honeywell alert system that will text/call/email you or whatever you prefer when they decide to cancel it.

  • My daughter's school calls us using an automated message and we also have a weather hotline that we can call if we need to.

  • The school in general doesn't call us, we are supposed to watch the news. But this week one of the teachers for the elementary school called us to let us know that it was a late start.

  • oh yes ours calls, we are on the messenger alert. So between 5:15 and 5:45 they call...ughh
