What is one of the most significant social issues currently faced by world citizens?

Trying to decide what to right about for a school essay. Just looking for a topic. Theres just so much sh*t going I cant decide!

  • Social issues are very interesting. IMO, it is the fine of art of attempting to balance the wants and desires of the industrialized nations vs obtaining the resources of the developing nations. The industrialized are dot on the map, as compared to the 2nd and third tier nations. The exploitation of entire nations and the raping of their resources represents a huge social and moral concern, IMO- I think sometimes people forget that there are people (individuals, families and communities) that are displaced in that quest.
