  • I pay my husband in sexual favors.... :p

    HA ha ha!

He prepares them with turbo tax. Ours are very easy to file.

  • My hubby does them on Turbo Tax

  • We always take ours to a local tax office. I was considering doing our taxes online this year but I probably won't.

  • I do it myself.
Most peoples taxes are very simple.
What you pay for is someone to input them into a program after you do all the work.
If you have a business or a number of deductibles an accountant might be worthwhile.

  • We used to do our own but they have got way too complicated. We file a particular deduction that is very odd and we feel better when someone else can take the hit if they were to do it wrong. There is not an actual form to fill out to fill out the deduction so the security makes us feel better.

  • I paid over $200 as well at Liberty and H/R Block in years past. Last year I used taxact and it was so easy and simple. I'm divorced w/ a child so there's not much to mine. But if you have simple taxes I def. recommend trying to do them yourself!

  • We do ours ourselves, but they are pretty simple. We did pay once a year ago, maybe 2 because I accidentally clicked an upgrade option when we were filing online. It ended up costing us $10 or something like that.

  • I've always done my own. Back in the day it was on paper (also did hubby's individual one before we were married) but now I do them online.
