sun light, natural light.

does anyone else hate natural light in their home? I close all the drapes at high noon... even if I cleaned all morning it seems to make my pictures look finger-printy and my shelves look dusty.

  • I love natural light! I'd be happy in a lightly-painted house with LOTS of big windows! Unfortunately, DH likes the shades shut because he doesn't want to be "watched" by the neighbors. It figures, I'm a country girl and he grew up in the projects with all kinds of creeps around. I HATE being inside with the blinds closed. I feel like I might as well be in a coffin!

  • I like natural light. Open in spring/summer/fall. Keep them closed in winter though. You would save on electricity if curtains were open though.

  • I love natural light. I keep the lights turned off as long as I can, so that all the natural light can come in.

  • hmmmm....maybe you need to dust and wipe your fingerprints off. Natural sunlight is free and better for you.
