  • I think of it as standing up for what you believe to be right and just when others do not.

  • I think there's some truth to it. However, I think there's something to be said for keeping an open mind for other beliefs and ways of thinking.

  • I, too, believe there is some truth to the statement - but also believe that if your footing is on shaky ground, believing in the sand you stand upon won't get you far once the tide rushes in.

  • I like the phrase in general I think you need to have a passion for some things and be open minded about others. If you are too cautious and not open to change your like can stagnate as well.
