How much does fuel cost at the moment at the station you usually go?

Man, if it it goes any higher (like the newspapers tel you) I'm seriously thinking about selling the car. Back to bicycle! I always go to the cheapest station around here and even then a liter of fuel costs me 1,56 Euro (these are the Netherlands) for a liter. I did the math: That's $2,11 for one liter! And if I remember correctly you guys use "gallon", which would make it $ 7,98 a gallon! What's it like where you are?
