pre-schooler breakfast?

What does your pre-schooler eat for breakfast?

Mine does not like eating in the mornings -- and we are usually rushed for time; so we keep it simple ---- what about you?

  • today she had oatmeal, its chilly and i wanted her to have something warm. but she usually just wants cereal everyday. on the weekends is when we have more filling, real breakfasts.

nothing wrong with a yogurt and apple though! thats a pretty nutritious breakfast if you ask me :)

  • He has to be in Schhol by 9:15 so we get going by 8:00. He gets a Dole fruit cup or apple sauce cup or banana, and a small muffin and I melt american cheese on toast or a roll in the toaster. Water or Apple Juice. He eats well in the morning. Then I dress him by 9:00 and the school is right around the corner.

  • My 5 year old son wants sausage links and apple sauce every morning, lol.  That's not what he gets everyday but if he had his way it would be.  My 3 year old and 1 year old need time to wake up before they want anything to eat but they'll eat whatever I give my oldest.

  • my dd likes eggs, toast and bacon or cereal....that's if she eats at all

Answer by josiesmommy00 at 10:32 AM on Jan. 24, 2011

  • cereal normally. She gets it herself. She's not in school and we don't do anything in the morning. Today she had a poptart (HUGE treat in our house) since we were out of cereal. Occasionally I'll make cinnamon rolls or oatmeal but for the most part she eats cereal.
