Rubbing Alcohol and Hydrogen Peroxide?

Do you throw them away when they expire? The quantity you buy them in sees like they would last 10 years, so do you throw them away when they expire.

  • I do - they are so cheap, I'd rather know that what's in my cabinets will be effective if I need them.

  • No

  • I never even thought about them expiring...

We don't use alcohol, so I don't have to worry about that at all, but we use peroxide so much that I can't imagine it having a chance to expire. (What IS the shelf-life of peroxide, anyway?) I buy 6 or 8 big bottles at a time at Costco because we use them to whiten whites, get stains out of the carpet, upholstery, laundry. I use it to disinfect...

  • I keep them. Seriously, there is an expiration date? I didn't even know they go bad.
