  • Hey, I was going to say calf stretches. LOL!!! Thigh stretches, where you bend your knee grab your foot behind you and pull it toward you, and hip stretches, where you put your feet about shoulder length apart with toes turned slightly out away from your body and with hands on knees squat until you feel your hips stretching. And let's not neglect the torso, raise your arms up above your head and tilt to the right until you feel your side stretching and then the left.

  • Make sure you do stretches before you go on your walks, so that you're warming up your body.
However, before or after you go on your walk any stretches from Pilates and Yoga excersises will do the trick.

  • One you can do: Sit on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you. Lean forward and grab the arches of your feet. Pull your toes toward your body until a stretch is felt in your calf muscles (both legs of coarse) . Face the wall and stand about maybe 12-14 inches away from it. Extend one leg behind you, keeping both feet flat on the floor and your rear knee straight. Lean toward the wall until you feel tension in the calf muscle of the extended leg.
