When I sit at the computer at school for a long time after a few days mt calfs and feet swell, Has that happened to you? what do you do for it?

  • No, it hasn't happened to me. Try getting up walking around more often, and at night time lay down with your feet propped up on a pillow!! Drink extra water :) Take in less salt because that could cause it also :)

  • When you sit, don't cross your legs or ankles ever! When you get a break in class, take a walk and move around. REALLY limit your salt intake. Salt is a killer. When you have to sit for an extended period, put your feet flat on the floor and lift up your legs by your tip toes in repetitions. Make it like an exercise. It keeps blood flowing.

  • No, I have heard get up about every 20 to 30 minutes even if its just to stand up and get your blood circulating. You can be on the phone and walk around at work if you have a head set, and at home it doesn't require a long time off. Run to the kitchen or bathroom but get the blood circulating.
