I know you burn calories when you get your heart rate up. I babysit twins and don't have an hour to exercise. Is it just as effective to do it 10 or 15 minutes at a time throughout the day?

  • Can you find time in the morning or evening? Or during their nap? Even 30 minutes?

  • Any exercise is better than no exercise at all.
If you only have small time frames to exercise through out the day then use them.
It doesn't have to be all at once.

  • Work out with the twins... You can stretch with them, you can do sit ups with them, you can make it a fun game if they are older as well... I would at least try to get 20 minutes in a day without stopping. Good Luck

  • I babysit my 5 month old nephew and I have a 9 month DD, I use them as weights and do tricep dips, bicep curls and weights during squats. I also put them on my feet when I'm laying down and use them as weights doing sit ups. You can go on walks, run around, etc

  • All of the above! LOL =) Get creative, OP! Any exercise is better than none, but when it comes to cardio, you get full benefit from getting the hear rate up above 140-150 for 15 minutes or doesn't start to reach that target area until 10-15 minutes into working out...
