What is the Best exercise?

I am looking to add exercise to kick start my weight loss efforts. My problem is I have major back issues and need ideas that aren't gonna hurt my back. Thanks

  • water aerobics are good, they don't put strain on your muscle & it really is a good workout!

  • Yoga's great, as is swimming and low impact aerobics....look into ellipticals as well as they're low impact and easy on the back, but give a great cardio workout.

  • being a busy mom that volunteers at her kids' schools I have found that working a workout routine into my daily routine helps...such as; I have stairs in my home so while taking things upstairs that belong there I make more trips than what it would normally take and I run and not walk up and down the stairs, dance while doing routine house cleaning, squats when I go from room to room and taking a daily walk not only to relax and wind down in the evenings but to get in more exercise
