Why do kids say the things they do?

Especially when they just answer with what they think you want to hear.

  • I suppose it is because they don't want to get into trouble saying the things they think you don't want to hear.

  • They just wanna communicate. I have found that 5 years olds are built for talking. Mine will talk about anything you bring up and absolutely everything he wants to bring up.
    I love it sometimes and lothe others.

  • They are learning how to communicate but they need to be taught how to with age apporiate words
