Housewarming gift ideas??

I am having a housewarming for my BIL who just bought a house and my SIL is living with him to (both are single,obviously) :) and I want to take something different not just the regular stuff that people take for gifts.Any ideas???

  • Its not really different, but I always take a laundry basket and fill it with different useful house things. Towels, dishes, soap, ect. You could throw in a few gag gifts too. Thats always funny :P

  • I like taking BBQ items, patio or gardening items like a garden hose or claw, maybe a framed picture of the couple (although I'm thinking maybe they're not a couple?) or some nice throw blankets for near the television.

  • If they drink wine, maybe a cool wine rack. I agree with the first poster that recommended Uncommon Goods. They do have some neat stuff. It's hard to give any other ideas without knowing some of his hobbies.
