3 Bumps

My xrays are normal...why does my back, low back & hips hurt all the time?

i'm in pain...the last doc i went to said my xrays are normal! the chiropractor said i have lordosis & scoliosis. wtf?

  • The xrays are slightly abnormal-you should start to improve with therapy. try heat 20 minutes on and off it will help the pain as well after about a month or two of therapy if there is no improvement you may want to ask your md for a ct scan or mri wcich is a more in depth picture of the area

  • Talk to another doctor, or 5. Try to find an actual back specialist. If you are carrying around extra weight, try to start a diet/exercise plan to get it off. All extra weight puts more pressure and any "iffy" place. Water exercises/swimming are GREAT low-impact ways to lose weight.

    Good luck, back pain is awful to deal with.

  • I've been in 3 wrecks and I think it contributed to my backaches. I think getting older adds to this problem also.
