What can I do for rheumatoid arthritis pain?

This is awful. Pain meds make me sleepy, but my feet are still killing me.
My feet are stiff and swollen, look like clubs.

I used to be a dancer, I could really point my toes, I like to stretch. I don't feeel like my self anymore. Should I keep trying to stretch? Wear compression stocking? Soak in warm water, or will that make it worse? Are there foods or herbal remedies that can help?
