  • I got a good breakfast/desert recipe. And healthy too. I can of concentrated orange juice, 3 large bananas, 1 pkg strawberries.
    Clean strawberries and remove leafy stems. Throw it all in the blender. you can serve it with (or without) banana slices and whipped cream on top, or refridgerate and serve it over ice cream for desert. Makes a great power shake and very filling

  • Roast a chicken, or boil boneless skinless breasts, or buy canned chicken - whatever, just as long as you have a couple cups of chopped chicken (turkey works too). Mix equal amounts of uncooked rice (preferably instant, brown or white, regular won't do as well with this recipe), cream of whatever soup, and milk, in a 9x13 pan (2 cans of each is a good amount). Spread the chicken over the rice. Top with a 2lb bag of frozen california mixed veggies. Cover with foil, and put in a 350 oven for a good hour and a half. Uncover, test the rice, sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bake til everything is bubbly and cheese is golden.

  • chicken roll ups:
    pound boneless chicken breasts until thin roll a slice of thin ham and a slice of havarti in chicken and secure with toothpicks. place in greased baking dish . melt 1/2 c butter, add 1 TBS white wine, 1TBS dijon mustard, 1TBS brown sugar, mix well and pour over chicken bake at 350 for 40 min or until done.

    I confess, I do it without the beer or cola can because it seems to be a pain, BUT if you prep the chicken, stuff it with an onion, melt a stick of butter, brush it on, then rub the seasoning mixture onto the chicken, and then bake it like you normally would, it comes out REALLY good!
