Does your husband back you up in parenting?

If you set a punishment, does he support you and your decisions or does he let your kids off the hook, but then punish them how he wants when they do something bad when he's around?

  • Heck yes he does! He used to be a push over who wouldn't punish our girls but once the youngest hit the terrible toddler times, he's changed his tune =)

  • Yes he supports me...I have a hard time supporting him. He is much more strict then I am and sometimes I just think he is being mean.

  • Heck no!!! I am the mean one, the punisher as my kids call me...Daddy is the biggest push over.. That is actually the only time we argue, is when its time to deal with these little people..I love him to the moon though :)

  • well, he usually had no problems with our 21 month old! It is usually me who has to punish him! He backs me up, but then he really doesn't do anything with our kid, it is mostly me, so really he just trys to go with what I decide.
