pork chops...

i looove shake n bake pork chops, but mine always are soggy in the middle, not crispy. wtf? my mom's aren't like that! i'm afraid if i cook them longer they'll be overdone...

  • Make sure your oven is completely preheated before putting them in the might even preheat the pan before putting the pork chops on it....try using a metal pan, and spray them with cooking spray. See if that helps.

  • you can also cook them on a metal rack, be sure your oven is up to the correct temp, Be sure to dry off the chop before breading. You could even give them a light brine before breading for extra tender-juicy chops.

  • When I used shake and bake I always had to cook them 20-25 minutes.

  • and your meat should always be room temperature before cooking. pat dry before adding the breading.
