  • it can be yes if you are breastfeeding expecially. Just make sure if your back to having sex your using protection because even with out having a period you may still ovulate and could get pregnant.

  • Mine did not reappear until 8, 9, and 10 months after the birth of my three. I was breastfeeding each and that can make a huge difference!

  • I exclusively breastfed both of my children until 6 months and then continued after that.

My first PP period with DD didn't happen until she was 14 months old. My first PP period with my DS was at 16 months. I was not ovulating at all during that time (I chart).

  • Yes totally normal some people don't get them for a year or more if breastfeeding and if not breastfeeding 8 weeks is a general min.

  • yeah when i went in for my 6 week check up I hadn't started my period yet, but my doc gave me something to jump start it. Now at 4 months pp I have had 2 periods this month alone. My cycle is screwed up right now. I have been told that it takes time for it to go back to normal. When I had my dd 5 yrs ago I was on bc pills so i didn't notice any period change. (by the way I don't breastfeed)
