what did you do for insomnia?

I have gotten really bad insomnia lately, what did you all do for it?

  • This is something I've been dealing with off and on most of my life......I think it might be seasonal......What do I do? Lately, I play on the computer and try not to worry about it. Nothing I can do anyway...

  • Now I just do quiet cleaning and/or organizing mostly. But when I was a teen my mom gave me a quarter pill of Melatonin sometimes at night.

  • It helps to get in a routine--do the same thing every night before you go to bed. I like to work crossword puzzles after I get in bed. It gets my mind off my worries, and I get really sleepy. It helps a lot!

  • Not much. I try to go to bed early and get up early but lots of times find myself up very early and either turn on the tv in my room or get on the computer.

  • I have had bad insomnia twice in my life, after the birth of my children. I am actually going through it right now. I take 25mg of trazadone for sleep. It is non addicive. It is actually an old antidepressant that is used mainly for insomnia becasue of its sedating effects.
