Why are there tears running down my face when I have to throw up?

I was just wondering. It happens to me when I'm sick. Anybody else have this? How come?

  • It's due to all the forceful vomiting you have, regardless of if anything is coming up or if you just have the dry heaves! It happens to me every time I vomit :(

  • Yep...I say it's from all of the pressure and the praying that going on when it's happening! Ur eyes feel like they r popping out of ur head so I'm sure tht plays a big part in it.

  • I always "cry" as I'm throwing up and after.  I have no idea why.  I couldn't find any answers on Google that actually fit this.

  • Your nose can run too. I guess it's like all of the bodily fluids run that are available when you heave.
