Is there a site at shows how much u owe...

like credt cards u didnt pay, bills etc...? I had somethng bad happen in 2009 and cudnt afford to pay bills. Am wondering if theres a freesite t show who I all owe too? Thinking about filing bankruptcy but idk. Any help?

  • yep http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/freereports/index.shtml
    This will give you a free credit report once a year and itll show all your past owed debt on your credit report. Those are the ones you have to use when filing bankruptcy anyway.

  • You can just consolidate you debts you dont have to do bankruptcy. you wont be able to get a car or prob even rent or buy a home for like 10 yrs much less have credit for anything. they have debt counseling in the phonebook which would get all ur debt in one payment i think. look into it.

    That's the site recommended by the Government. It will give you a copy of your credit report, but not your score. You can get your score if you pay $7 or $9 more.

    I would recommend checking out the book Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey from your local library. Two years ago we had $20,000 in debt. Our income stayed about the same- but once we got on on Dave's plan we were able to find creative ways to pay off that debt. Now we have just $2000 left to pay off. It feels great =)
