I miss the idea of him

i left a few months ago
have not dated at all
not because i am still thinking things will work out with us-not at all
but no desire to until recently, i am missing things, missing a partner

i am feeling the loss of the simple things that go along with a relationship
the every day things,
calling someone sweetheart or darling
a kiss good morning or good night
finishing each others sentences
hearing the same story for the 10th time-lol
even the stuff that used to bug me

i miss being in a relationhip
words to help me shake this?
or is it time to start dating?

  • I don't have any advice to give you, but I do want to encourage you that even if you are lonely right now, you are better off without him than you were with him. Good luck in getting through this, what ever avenue you decide to take. (c:

  • i am hanging out later today with a girlfriend, looking forward to it
she is married to an abusive man, ... just hearing the lastest from her - may shake this longing for a partner right out of me

i also know that not all men are bad, or cheaters, or closet freaks-lol

  • I feel for you, because i am going through the same thing. But i agree w/ PP, better off without him, than with him. Same goes 4 me as well. Don't worry, one day all us single mommas will find a great prince charming to come sweep us off our feet =P i hope lol
