have you heard of snow ice cream??

i think i might make it later

1 gallon snow
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk

When it starts to snow, place a large, clean bowl outside to collect the flakes. When full, stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency. Serve at once.

  • I love it, but we hardly ever have enough snow to make it. I like to substitute whipping cream for the milk. Vanilla is great, but mint or almond extract are yummy too.

  • My mom made it when we were little, but I haven't had it in years, I live where it doesn't snow.
