  • Never, I'm very doubtful of my doctor. I know there are good ones out there but mine is not one of them.

  • Nope. I know the limitations of his education.

    I would never ask him about nutrition, potty training, childrearing (except I happen to like his kids)...

    When he has given me an opinion I disagree with, I've disagreed with him right to his face. I think the medical system in general is wrong about cholesterol and about mammography --the best part is that he still hasn't come up with a single study that proves his practice is doing it the healthiest way.

  • no. I had a dr that misdiagnosed me with a pinched nerve. It ended up being a VERY LARGE blood clot and I am lucky I went for a second oppinion Because otherwise I wouldnt be here

  • i know they know more than i do. but i always do my research to see what i am feeling and see if the doctor mentions anything i looked up.

  • Despite, education and experience medicine iis not a perfect science, unlike shopping for a jacket it's more like finding the perfect bathing suit. I am a second year nursing student and am amazed at the way a human body functions when there are so many possibilties for it to be compromised.
