Have you tried your baby can read program? did it work?

  • It is a memorization program and not worth the money. The best thing you can do to foster reading skills is to read to your child often.

  • I had a talk with my ped because my 3 year old was still not recognizing letters and such. She said 5 or 6 is typical for a child to begin reading. The reason I was so concerned? His 9 year old brother with autism could read a 1. She said it's not common in typical children and I shouldn't worry. I know you were asking about the MBCR, but just wanted to tell you my experience. I don't think I would do it, let it develop naturally.
