  • If you are a Christian, your God (if you ask) will forgive you...
But from a personal view (as a non-Christian) the one who needs to
be forgiving you for your cheating is the person you cheated on... and
then YOU need to forgive yourself...

  • gmasboy is right, on all counts.

  • I believe God forgives us, always. I don't believe in hell, though, and my beliefs in terms of sin and forgiveness aren't quite as othodox as most of the other Christians I know... But most Christians will tell you if you really are sorry you will be forgiven. I agree with gmasboy, though, its important to apologize to the person you cheated on, and to learn to forgive yourself for it, too.

  • All of us sin (although not all of us commit adultery). What matters is that we realize our sin, stop, and ask forgiveness. God does forgive us when we come to Him with repentant hearts.

  • If you're a Christian and repent and turn from your sin, the Lord will forgive you and remove your transgressions from you as far as east is from west:-)

Psalm 103: 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

  • Repent of your sins, Revelation Ch.3:19, God can and will forgive anything. In the bible, a group of people took an adulteress woman in front of Jesus, and told him of what she did, and e did not answer but picked up a stick and wrote in the sand, "let him that is without sin cast the first stone." that being written in the sand, all were silent and one by one walked away knowing they were not without sin, the bible says, "there is none righteous, no, not one!" When you repent you are given a clean slate as if nothing ever happened because thats how merciful he is,! praise God!
