Unique Headboard for Master Bedroom?

Trying to think of some unique headboard ideas; currently we have white sheers all around the bed, and our room is painted a deep green. At our new home, the floors are hardwood, walls are a light tan, and woodwork is white.

I'd like to do something unique - any creative ideas? I don't want to do the sheers again because of the room layout, and we have a beautiful view of the backyard.

  • Okay try to just go with me on this, what about a big mirror? Not on the ceiling but as your headboard.

  • One of my friends showed me a great decorator picture of a wall mounted headboard. Much less expensive than a bed frame and you can get really creative.

  • That is a really neat idea, Ladybug. I'm not so into the gold like in the pic, but I like the idea. Thank you!
