jumping for joy!!! new law!

this is unconfirmed. but i just saw this posted on facebook.

"Kentucky just passed the best law ever. To be on food stamps, medicaid or cash assistance for children or yourself, you HAVE to pass a drug test. If you like this, repost it.

i hope my state follows suit. there is nothing wrong with being on PA and getting assistance you need. but if you cant pass a drug test you should be denied. i have been saying this for a while now. so glad to see i am not the only one who thinks in this manner.

  • What happens to the children of these parents, do they starve? Just wondering?

What happens to them now if their parents are drug addicts and selling their food stamps for money for drugs? Or not taking care of the kids because they are high all the time? Just wondering

If they fail the drug test their benefits would be suspended until they were clean OR if they agree to participate in getting OFF drugs they won't lose their benefits.

  • Wonder how prescription drugs would figure into the picture? The biggest change in recent years in terms of addition, is those who are hooked on legally prescribed narcotics.

  • No mom.....they MIGHT get a BETTER life as their drug addled parents could get help OR they could be taken out of a VERY dangerous situation!

  • then they should get off the dope. there is no excuse for using drugs (other than prescribed by a dr) . and like i said it was unconfirmed. but it should be passed.
