How old were you when you started getting grey hair

My daughter told me the other day I had alot of grey hair. I don't see any, but how old were you when you started getting them

  • OMG!! i was 16! i love my hair color, too, dark red, and i cannot find a dye close to my natural color to cover the grey! i had to do highlights which are a pain to keep up!

  • Saw my 1st at 21! I'm 38 now,and if I didn't color,I'd be about 25% gray

  • 20. At this rate I will be salt and pepper by 60. My parents aren't totally gray and they are 65.

    That's ok since SO and I will be a matched set.

  • Try not to freak out, it's different for everyone. And hair color makes a difference too. So does how your family members grayed. (like your parents) If you have a hard-to-match hair color like itzmyzoo and myself, you have to decide if it's woth the hassle & expense to keep it up (dying that is) Me, I've learned to embrace the sprinkling of grey I've EARNED! (So I'm not ready to dye or highlight- yet!) :p

  • Around I feel somewhat "Greyatefull" after readine some of your answers.... I know, I know that's terrible of me!
    But don't worry...grey hair can be hereditary along with illness and stress induced.
    Thank God for Hair Dyes!
