  • Depends. How much of his time/money/enrgy does he spend on it and what it is affecting in his life?

  • What about being a banker precludes being interested in marine biology and knowing a lot about it? A person can be interested in a subject other than their area of work without being obsessed. This seems to be a puzzling question to me, not sure exactly what you are asking.

  • I would just say interested... If he was obsessed be wouldn't be a banker. :)

  • He's a very interesting person.
He likes both Banking and Marine Biology. It sounds perfect.

If in doubt, why don't you ask him??
