I need ideas on how to get parents to get involved in activites for preschool.

Can any of you provide ideas on child activities that parents can get involved in. Please share your stories and ideas.

  • Theme the activities that parents can connect with, and then they can better help out because they know about the activity already. For example, you know a mom or moms love scrapbooking...you could get those moms to help do an activity with paper or pictures or something. One of the dads coaches a team or two....if it was an activity involving outdoor activities then let him coordinate it.

  • Young children LOVE to cut vegtables! Use butter knifes, have the parents bring in a veggie and have the children all have time to cut, arrange and eat the project!
